Job Search 2021 _ Where To Look
Now I have setup my shop front, its time to look for a job.
So Im going to use my network to start with before going to the professional recruiters. I like the idea of finding a job through my network without relying on external help. Besides its often more cost effective for the employer too, so that might go in my favour.
This is the order Im going to approach looking for a position:
- Your friends
- LinkedIn
- Your network
- The job board

Twitter
- Your network
- Use those hashtags to send a post to hit all the bots
- Use those hashtags to find job posts

Virtual Meetups

Job Boards

Contracting options
Once I have exhausted these routes, professional recruiters will be next.
At present I am not pushed for time, so it will be interesting to see if they bear any fruit.
